The Job sector has not been very promising in recent years. After MBA, there are certain consulting roles that have been dream offers for top MBA graduates from IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta. While performance based firing has been common with up or out policy but a mass layoff has been announced recently for the front end consulting roles which had been pretty uncommon so far in the job market

What do you think about it? And will consulting remain the sought after job after MBA?
