For this episode, I flew to the city of joy only to fanboy around the incredible Shoojit Sircar at his Kolkata home. From discussing his films and anecdotes from his sets to how he plays cameraperson in all his films, from constipation to smoking, from Amitabh Bachchan to Irrfan, from his love for Rajma Chawal to him being a ‘Jat-Bengali’, not to forget the football game that we played, we hardly left any topic (or activity) undiscussed!

We discussed how he landed his first directorial gig after his hotel job in Delhi, his close relationship with elephants, Bollywood’s Parninda Parcharcha (or PNPC as he calls it) and why he lives in Kolkata after all, I got all the tea *ahem ahem* that I could.
