'Ordered police to arrest culprits': Manipur CM on purported video of women being paraded

Hours after a video, purportedly of two women being paraded naked by a group of men in Manipur, went viral on social media Wednesday, CM N. Biren Singh said, 'We saw the video and I felt so bad, it's a crime against humanity. I immediately ordered the police to arrest the culprits and the state govt will try to ensure capital punishment for the accused. Every human being should condemn it.'
While the video went viral on social media Wednesday, the alleged incident purportedly took place earlier. The women had allegedly also been raped in a field.
